Institution Tab	Courses missing from the view of instructors and students. B.  All radio buttons – go into ‘cog’ and ensure all radio buttons in the rows of the courses you don’t want to see are deselected. C.  Errant Announcements – enter the preceding/subsequent course and remove the errant Announcement. Generally speaking, look for anything that isn’t a plain Announcement. For example: Wimba, embedded media & websites, open ended URL’s*, widgets, etc…
Assignments	If a # sign is included when naming items that automatically create columns in the Grade Center (e.g., Test, Survey, Assignments, Safe Assignments), users won't be able to download all the files from the Grade Center at once.	Unknown	First, remove the # sign in the Assignment name first. Then remove the # sign from the Grade Center column for that Assignment. DO NOT use special characters when naming items or files.
Assignments	Intermittent issue with attached file links not being displayed in the Grade Center. Student will attach a file to an Assignment and submit it. When student goes back into the Assignment the file (file link) is clearly seen. However, when an instructor opens the Assignment in the Grade Center there is no indication of an attached file.	Unknown	This issue is rare and un-replicateable, thus no work round has been found.
Grade Center	Using an apostrophe in group names causes Smart Views in the Grade Center to become jumbled and display improperly.	Unknown	DO NOT use apostrophes or special characters in names.
Grade Center	In Internet Explorer 8, scroll bar(s) are missing in the Grade Center.	IE8 on a PC, you may not be able to see the scroll bar in the Grade Center. This issue is related to the way IE8 renders certain web page elements such as scroll bars.	Configure IE8 to use Compatibility View.

Course Entry	Instructor receives an error stating: Users with your role do not have personal grades.	Instructor has set My Grades as entry point to course.	Go to Admin tab > Courses. Search for course and at chevron drop down menu select: Export/Archive. Then at next window select the Export button. This will take you into the course where you will have access to the Control Panel and you can set course entry point to some other location. Control panel > Customization > Style > Entry Point

Announcements	Multiple Announcement area maladies. Announcements rearranging themselves, can’t create new announcements, can’t delete announcements, and can’t create announcements. Basically, any or all normal functions of the Announcement area can be affected by some type of malfunction.	Errant Announcements - embedded objects, YouTube, widgets, open ended links, and bad HTML/Java pasted into Text Box.	Export entire Announcement area using the Export/Archive function. Then use the Recycle function to delete the Announcement area. Then Import the Exported .zip file.
Course Copy	We are seeing a problem in some courses when you enter a content area, the breadcrumb links that are generated lead back to another course, yet your menu and control panel remain within the original course. That is, once inside the content area if use the breadcrumb navigation links you will you be taken to the content area of another course but everything else is still your course.	This is related to the course copy function. It can happen if you use the Course Copy function to move one course to another.	There are two fixes. First, is to delete or recycle the entire course and use the Export/Import function to recreate the course from the source course. Second, is you can recycle the specific content area and then use the Export/Import functions to bring the content over from the source course.
